How price calculations work in cart & checkout

1. Fixed Bundle Price ($)

Sets a fixed total price for the entire bundle regardless of which options or variants the customer chooses.

Example: Enter 49.99. Customer picks items normally worth $70 total — the final checkout price is set to exactly $49.99.

2. Percentage Discount (%)

Deducts a percentage off the standard price sum of all chosen component items.

Example: Enter 15 (for 15%). Customer selects 3 items totaling $100 — final checkout price is $85.00 (15% off).

3. No Discount (Standard Price Sum)

Combines items into a single bundle step builder without altering individual product prices.

Example: Customer builds a gift set and pays standard retail prices for all selected variants.

4. BOGO Free ($0 Gift Item)

Used for Buy X Get Y Free offers. The parent product is bought at standard retail price, and all included component gift items are automatically discounted to $0.00 (Free) in checkout.

Example: Customer buys parent item ($100) — all included component variants in the bundle are added for $0.00 Free.

Option Disabled (No) — Dual selling mode If you plan to sell this parent product both as a standalone item and as a bundle deal, leave this unchecked. This displays a switch toggle on the product page, allowing customers to manually choose to "opt-in" to the bundle deal.

Option Enabled (Yes) — Bundle-only mode If this product is strictly sold as a bundle, check this box. The switch toggle will be hidden, and the widget will be permanently active. Any customer clicking the main "Add to Cart" button will immediately purchase the bundle components.
